Golden Journey Retrievers, in beautiful Roanoke, VA, is a family-run business that offers the opportunity to add a precious Golden Retriever puppy to your life. We are a family of dog lovers. We added our first golden retriever two years ago (2021) and have been in love with her since day one. Heather eagerly began researching “all things golden” and what is required to breed. She is privileged to be working alongside two amazing mentors who offer over twenty years of combined breeding expertise.
Heather is excited to breed happy, healthy, beautiful golden puppies with the help of her supportive family. The puppies will be lovingly cared for in our home, being held throughout the days and stimulated with toys and exercise as they grow.

Our Golden Journey
This is our beautiful fifty-six pound dark golden girl. She is AKC registered, OFA and CHIC Certified, Embark health clear and has outstanding pedigree. Journey loves spending time with our family, meeting new people, and playing with other dogs. She enjoys walks and a good game of fetch, but is always ready to snuggle up for a good nap.

Sir Wesley Joyce
Wesley is a handsome medium golden boy, weighing in at seventy-six pounds. He is akc registered, OFA to chic standards and is fully genetically health tested and clear through Embark. Wesley loves being with his people and playing in the creek. He has a love for water and fetch. He also enjoys cuddling on the couch and watching movies.

Golden Journey Retrievers has an exciting announcement!!! Journey delivered 7 healthy beautiful puppies January 30, 2024. We have 4 boys and 3 girls. We are currently taking non refundable deposits to reserve your precious puppy. They will be cared for in our home until they are allowed to go to their “furever” home at 8 weeks of age.
